Cross Cultural Center
(A.K.A. the C.C.C.)
About:
The Cultural Community Center (C.C.C.) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing students with a safe, focused environment for studying and academic support, while also hosting multicultural workshops that promote cultural awareness, inclusivity, and respectful engagement across diverse backgrounds. I served as a designer supporting the organization's visual communication needs.
Team:
Collaborated within a 2-person design team alongside my Design Co-coordinator, Leslie Acosta. All work featured on this page reflects my individual contributions.
Challenge:
Design meaningful, mission-driven materials that authentically captured the heart, values, and cultural identity of the organization — ensuring every visual deliverable reflected the C.C.C.'s commitment to community, diversity, and inclusion.
My Process:
Every design decision was rooted in the organization's history and mission statement, ensuring visual consistency and authenticity across all materials. I translated the C.C.C.'s core values into cohesive design that resonated with both the student community and broader audience the organization serves (ex: Official Information Postcard, Staff Windbreakers, logos, and advertisements).
Result:
Entrusted with increasingly high-visibility projects, I expanded my design expertise within a real-world nonprofit setting — delivering materials that directly supported the organization's outreach, programming, and community engagement efforts.
Duration:
3 months.
