MAJIC Studio

About:
MAJIC Studio is an international design agency dedicated to providing professional-grade design services to nonprofit organizations. In this project, I led the end-to-end development of a comprehensive brand identity for client Mathew Caldito, encompassing logo design, typography selection, color systems, and wireframing.

Team:
Independent contributor — sole designer on the project.

Challenge:
Develop a cohesive visual identity system from the ground up, including a modern logo mark, a complementary color palette built upon existing brand colors, and a typographic hierarchy that reflects the client's brand voice.

My Process:
I began by establishing the foundational design system — curating a 3-color palette and selecting 2 typefaces that aligned with the brand's direction. Using Adobe Illustrator, I produced 8 initial logo concepts to present a diverse range of design directions and gather early client feedback. Based on the client's preference for a minimalistic aesthetic, I refined the direction to develop a clean, black-and-white text-based logo incorporating a star motif — balancing simplicity with brand distinctiveness.

Result:
Through three structured rounds of client feedback and iteration, the final logo was approved and exported in both JPG and PNG formats for versatile use across digital and print applications. All brand assets — including the logo suite, color palette, and typography — were compiled into a comprehensive brand book, delivered as a complete, client-ready package.

Duration:
4 weeks total — 2 weeks of active design and iteration, followed by 2 weeks of client review and finalization.
