Swish Corp.
About
Swish is an AR-based multiplayer basketball game on the iPhone. I designed the logo, graphics, and user interface/layout of the mobile game for our client at Apple Inc.
In this case study, I showcase my initial design that the client accepted (2019 version) and the polished redesign I did in 2023.

Logo Design
I integrated the first initial of the game’s name, which is an “S,” into the basketball lining to create a unique, circular basketball logo. The design colors only the lining of a basketball and hollows out the rest of the logo to show the shape of the “S”. I added a drop shadow and made the logo a gradient orange and red to make the logo look more dynamic and burn with passion.
UI Designs
Original UI Design (2019)
From a UX designer’s perspective, we wanted a simple UI that allowed people to decide between playing solo or with other people. Because we did not want to overwhelm the user, I only put 2-3 button choices on each menu.
Complete Brand Refresh & UI Design (2023 Version)
Bolder and more fluid typography to match the design of a basketball; full UI developed with rounder buttons. I redesigned this to be more user-friendly, reflecting a more mature UI design approach.
